Switching back and forth between the balloon with adapter and tube is easy thanks to the Volcano Hybrid’s Easy Valve. The name is an apt one, as it makes switching implements as simple as changing a lightbulb.
Fast and Efficient Heating
The Volcano Hybrid goes from ‘off’ to ‘ready to vape’ in under 40 seconds. That’s remarkably fast for any vaporizer, let alone a desktop device. Plus, Storz & Bickel’s dual heating chamber system—featuring both convection and conduction elements—ensures your material heats up smoothly and evenly, so not a bit is wasted.
The filling chamber on the Volcano Hybrid is made from stainless steel that has been lined with ceramic elements to ensure a consistent and even heat distribution throughout the chamber. It has a capacity of 0.5g of herbs, which is sufficient for multiple users. Furthermore, its heating technology is capable of reaching 370°F-410°F in less than a minute and producing up to 2 full balloons of vapor per session.
The filling chamber on the Volcano Hybrid is locked in place with square indentations for easy grip and exposed by opening. The stainless steel screen supports the herb in the chamber, while an outer metal ring provides conduction heating for efficient extraction.
How to Operate Your Volcano Hybrid:
- Start by connecting the power adapter to the back of the device and plugging it into a wall outlet.
- It is important to perform a burn off cycle before its first use. This will help ensure that the device is free of any debris or residue from its assembly process. To start, make sure the hybrid is completely assembled and heat settings working properly.
- Once the burn off is completed, fill your chamber with your choice of material, making sure not to overpack it. To use concentrate use the conentrate pad.
- Select your desired temperature settings on the digital display or via the Android app. We recommend starting at the lower side of the temperature range.
- Place the filling chamber in its slot on the top of the device, then attach either the balloon or tube to the Easy Valve or Tube Whip.
- When your device is ready, press the start button and begin vaping from using the whip option or wait for the device to pump the balloon full of vapor.

After Use: Disconnect the power adapter from the wall outlet. Carefully remove the filling chamber and empty it out of any remaining material. If necessary , clean the filling chamber with included brush.
How to clean the Volcano Hybrid:
The Volcano Hybrid is relatively easy to clean. First, use the cleaning brush (included in the kit) to remove any excess debris from the oven. Then, use a small amount of isopropyl alcohol and some cotton swabs to wipe up what’s left.
