Puffco Proxy Core Kit — Modular Concentrate Vaporizer
The Puffco Proxy Core Kit is the complete electronic unit of the Proxy modular e-rig platform.
It pairs the Proxy 3D Chamber with full Puffco Connect app integration, giving you real-time temperature control, customisable heat profiles, and compatibility with every Proxy glass piece in the collection. In our testing, the combination of multi-directional ceramic heating and Bluetooth session control puts this ahead of most portable concentrate vaporizers in its class.
The Proxy Core Kit suits concentrate users who want more than a fixed-pipe dab rig. It works well for those who already own Proxy glass and want the upgraded electronic engine, as well as first-time Proxy buyers who want the complete package in one box. The app integration and customisable profiles make it a strong choice for experienced users who prefer dialling in sessions precisely, though the four preset profiles mean beginners can get good results without touching the app at all.

The Proxy 3D Chamber heats from multiple surfaces simultaneously rather than only from the base. Use the loading tool to place your extract on the bottom surface of the chamber before your session — this ensures the concentrate sits correctly for optimal multi-directional vaporization. We noticed in testing that this approach prevents pooling, promotes consistent extraction throughout the load, and preserves the terpene compounds that define flavour at lower temperature settings.
Maintenance is straightforward: wipe the chamber with a cotton swab after each session while still warm. It takes seconds and keeps performance consistent across extended use.
Four Heat Profiles:
Single-click the button to cycle through the four colour-coded profiles. Each delivers a distinct balance of flavour intensity and vapour volume. The cycle runs from highest to lowest temperature: White, Red, Green, Blue.
Blue — 254°C (490°F) — High Flavour: Best with delicate concentrates. Maximum terpene expression, lighter vapour. Start here if flavour is the priority.
Green — 266°C (510°F) — Balanced (Recommended): The all-rounder in our experience. Balanced flavour and vapour production for most everyday sessions.
Red — 277°C (530°F) — Strong Vapour: Higher output while maintaining reasonable flavour quality. A step up from Green for bigger sessions.
White — 285°C (545°F) — Maximum Vapour: Full power and the densest vapour output — best for experienced users or larger loads. Flavour expression is reduced compared to lower profiles at this setting.
Each cycle runs for 40 seconds by default. Session duration is customisable in the Puffco Connect app. Allow the device to cool for 10 minutes between heat cycles for consistent performance and longevity.
Puffco Connect App — Advanced Session Control
Hold the button for 6 seconds to enter pairing mode (pulsing blue lights), then connect via the Puffco Connect app on iOS or Android. Once paired, you unlock a level of control not available through the device alone.

The Proxy Modular System — How the Joystick Cap Works
Out of the box, the Core Kit works as a standalone portable unit with the included Core Cup and Mouthpiece. To connect to external Proxy glass pieces, install the Joystick Cap on the 3D Chamber: unscrew the chamber, peel off the mouthpiece, attach the Joystick Cap (ensuring the tether is fully sealed), then reinsert the chamber. Pull the Core Cup down and twist to remove, then insert the Proxy base into any compatible glass piece.
This single mechanism unlocks the full Proxy Collection — pipes, bubblers, water attachments — all powered by the same Core unit. It is one of the more practical modular systems we have tested, with no additional tools required to swap between glass pieces.
Using Terp Pearls With the Proxy Core
Three 4mm terp pearls are included. Place one inside the 3D Chamber before your session — airflow agitates the pearl during the heat cycle, distributing concentrate across the entire chamber surface for more even vaporisation and denser vapour. Terp pearls are particularly effective on Red and White heat settings, where higher temperatures maximise their agitation and coverage.
